Easier Subscription From FeedBurner

One of the challenges that many folks new to social media face is figuring out the best way to subscribe to RSS feeds. There are a myriad of choices for subscription and it stands to reason that people could get frustrated by all the options.
The best option initially might be for people to have the option to subscribe via email. After all, email is definitely a known (if not overused) quantity for just about anyone who has a computer these days. I’m also a believer of the tenet that people should have as many options as possible to consume content.
It’s for those reasons that I’m happy to see that FeedBurner has added the ability for publishers to provide a simple subscription module for consumers who prefer the email approach. FeedBurner has previously supported integration with the FeedBlitz and Squeet services. I like the FeedBurner service because it requires no special account on another site for a person to subscribe. And you’ll notice that I’ve added FeedBurner’s subscribe form in the last section of the right sidebar.
So while Blogs and RSS are getting easier to manage, they are also becoming easier to consume. Thanks to FeedBurner for assisting with both parts of the equation.
