Corporate RSS

Attensa LogoAccording to Somewhat Frank, Attensa has introduced a corporate level RSS solution that is powered by a Linux server.

Deploying a server to handle RSS management is particularly attractive to enterprises that want to have full control over their RSS feed distribution. This type of deployment also gives organizations the power to put RSS on the same level of distribution as email.

According to Frank’s post, “A major benefit of the Attensa server solution is that it will go out and pull down RSS feeds for the various users within the corporation once and then distribute them all via the server.”

This is probably a good thing for large corporations. And definitely not worth it for small businesses. For small folks I would recommend implementing a system like Drupal for creating and managing RSS feeds from multiple users. More on using Drupal later.
