I Accept The Nomination

To be filed in the strange but true category. One of the podcasts that I produce, the New York Mets Baseball Podcast has been graciously nominated for a 2006 Podcast Award.
Now, I’m not the type to interpret winning awards as the sign of a successful Social Media venture. But it feels good to be nominated since it’s fans of the show that do the voting. And I also think that businesses and individuals alike can learn something from how my podcasts are generally presented.
Enough with the small talk though. Since I’m planning to be at the Portable Media and Podcast Expo for the awards ceremony, it would be very nice to actually win. So if you have a moment, sample my podcast. If you think it’s worthy of an award then head over to the 2006 Podcast Awards website and cast your vote. Feel free to vote once per day between now and August 11th if you’re so inclined.
