If you’re one of the wannabes that fawns over every move made by Adam Curry and Podshow then you won’t like this post. Ditto for those who aspire to sign the PodShow agreement so that you can cease to personally promote your podcast while hanging with the cool kids of podcasting.
Venture capital funded podcast start [...]

The latest entrant in the podcast directory / social podcast community space launched this week. PodShow comes to the table with generous funding and the strong pedigree of podcasting pioneer Adam Curry.
Their offering is a very strong hybrid of a podcast directory and MySpace-like social networking site. Unregistered users to the site can browse through [...]

Steve Rubel reports that Rocketboom host Amanda Congdon has called it quits, splitting from the show and her business partner Andrew Baron. This news is confirmed by Amanda herself on the Amanda Unboomed website.
I’m not sure what the disagreement is about. Could be about money, could be about the direction of the show. Maybe they [...]

A new Podcast community/directory launched recently and it looks pretty darn good. Blubrry is more community than Podcast directory. The site includes social network style features like a friends list, tags and commenting.
Podcasters do not merely list their show on Blubrry. They enter into a non-exclusive agreement that allows Blubrry to negotiate ad sales and [...]

Just published a book on podcasting? Congrats! Oh and one more thing. IT’S OUTDATED ALREADY!
I hate to be the one to rain on folks’ parades but it’s true. And I can’t understand why people who appear to be so commited to new media bust their butts to put something out in the old media world. [...]
