Bad Behavior Spam Fighter

This is the first of the spam fighting tools and techniques that I’ll feature following my wiki spam attack.
Bad Behavior is a set of PHP scripts that helps to protect social websites from spam bots. According to their official website Bad Behavior does this, “by analyzing their actual HTTP requests and comparing them to profiles from known spambots.”
Sounds good to me. I’ve been using the WordPress plugin version for about a month now across my sites and just recently installed the MediaWiki version. A few other systems are supported as well.
This is a free plugin created by Michael Hampton although donations are accepted. I highly recommend installing this as an early warning system on your social website if supported. It may just save you and your users a whole lot of headaches.
