Google Buys JotSpot »

Speaking of acquisitions in the social media space, I got an email this morning announcing that Google had purchased hosted wiki service JotSpot. Is there no end to the acquisitions that Google can (and will) make? Probably not given their market capitalization.
According to the email, “Google shares JotSpot’s vision for helping people collaborate, share and [...]

To that end I see that WordPress version 2.0.5 has been released into the wild. This news comes from the WordPress Dev Blog.

James from Forty Media corrected me on the last post. And now Christoph from Castfire has chimed in as well with these comments:“It’s been a long [...]

Fruitcast Hits The Skids »

Auto insertion advertising player Fruitcast has temporarily shut down operations. A visit to their website yields nothing but the image to the left of this post.
A surf over to the Fruitcast Blog yields the old 404. If there is indeed something more coming then why not keep the blog going?
Fruitcast isn’t the only ad [...]

But Not Much Is New »

Internet Explorer 7 is out and it includes some nifty features that allow people to discover and subscribe to RSS feeds in the browser. I’ve been testing the beta for months and recognized that the RSS functionality is a very important new feature.
Apparently Walt Mossberg from The Wall Street Journal doesn’t think so. I read [...]
