Podcasting Union

No, I’m not talking about RSS marrying Podcasting. Rather I’m talking about the recent report over at Paid Content, that states, “WSJ Reporters In Union Will Stop Podcasts, Webcast Interviews, CNBC Appearances.”
As far as I know this is the first time workers have refused to produce podcasts for their employer. Labor unions have a lot of clout in the U.S. but I’m really surprised that this has reach into social media.
Will they blogs be the next target for striking union journalists?
