WordPress.com Hits 500K

Just saw the post by Matt indicating that WordPress.com had hit the 500,000 blog mark. That’s a lot of blogs.
They have bulit a good service over there that works for a lot of people. I put my wife on a WordPress.com blog when she wanted to start photo blogging.
What’s wild about the WordPress story is the fact that I’m sure many people thought Blogger and TypePad had the market wrapped up. This just proves that there is always room for people who are doing things a bit differently than the rest.
