Social Media Roundtable

Today I had the pleasure of lunching with some heavy hitters in the world of Social Media. I sat down at the Bryant Park Grill with Shel Holtz (pictured left) and Neville Hobson. Shel and Neville are VPs at the marketing firm Crayon. And they are also hosts of the For Immediate Release podcast. We were joined at the table by Dave Rimington of the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
All four of us are passionate about blogging, podcasting and social networking. Neville and Dave are also very big into Second Life.
We talked about cell phones, the ins and outs of podcasting, Microsoft Vista, disruptive marketing in Second Life, blogging and much more. Neville took some pics with his Nokia N73 and recommended we check out xolo.tv. Shel introduced us to his below the radar podcast Jam Journey. I showed off my Samsung Blackjack which took the pics in this post.
Would have been great to have recorded all the conversation. But it’s also nice to have time to relax and not worry about whether or not you captured good audio.
