If you have links on your podcast website to the now defunct Yahoo Podcast Directory then take ‘em off your sites like yesterday. The directory has been taken down and your link now goes to a Yahoo Audio Search page.

‘Professor’ Sallie Goetsch (rhymes with ‘sketch’) noticed something about the 2007 Podcast and New Media Expo. According to The Podcast Professor, “…the Expo itself just didn’t seem to have the same energy as last year.”
I spoke to a number of people when I was there and those who had been to the Expo in [...]

PodTech troubles continue amid rumors and innuendo about collapses and reorganizations. It’s pretty funny watching Robert Scoble trip through the blogosphere slapping people’s hands for not acting like real journalists.
Hey Bob, the real journalists are too busy kicking PodTech’s butt to cover the story. I’ve been following the excellent All Things Digital blog for months [...]

How in the world can Microsoft justify $240 million for a measly 1.6% of Facebook? Didn’t News Corp. buy 100% of the much more popular MySpace for around $500 million just two years ago?

A support supervisor at Verizon told my Mom that Verizon DSL would not work with Windows 98. I said different. I was finally able to make it to my Mom’s house to work on it yesterday. Within 45 minutes I had her on the net. I didn’t have to do anything except use the [...]

The Amazon MP3 Downloader makes the process of buying music and keeping track of downloads very simple. Newly purchased tracks are automatically [...]

There are many people weighing in on the iPod Touch with their own reviews so I figured I’d throw my own piece of wood onto the fire. How amazing is it that we now have opinions from thousands of people rather than just a few reviews by mainstream outlets? I think its great. And that’s [...]

This has been a big year for changes in the music industry. A number of significant events have occurred that indicate the scales are tipping in favor of the consumer. That’s good news for consumers and artists in my opinion. And believe it or not I think it will be good for record labels because [...]

How does anyone with an older computer get setup with Verizon DSL? Still no DSL service after a couple of more weeks. Oh well. Turns out that Verizon now claims that it is impossible to get their DSL service if your computer has Windows 95 98. I know that you can get it working. I’ve [...]
