I’m still not sure which is more difficult, moving house or moving blog? Both take up a lot of time. Both require a lot of patience. Moving the blog didn’t kill my back though so I guess moving house is still more difficult.

In any case, I’ve moved the location of the Awakened Voice blog from here to http://awakenedvoice.com/blog. I have imported all of the posts and comments from here to there. If you’re subscribed to the blog feed at http://blog.awakenedvoice.com/feed then you’ll want to switch to http://awakenedvoice.com/blog/feed. If you’re subscribed via FeedBurner you need not do anything.

Why did I move the blog? While seeking to simplify management of the content I create I decided that a subdomain was un-necessary. The main Awakened Voice site is built on Drupal and I can do everything I need to do with that so this simplifies things for me.  So instead of having to maintain two locations I only have to maintain one. Hopefully that means more time for creating better content.

You should also take note that I have started a new Twitter account located at http://twitter.com/awakened_voice. I get quite a lot of people following me because I sometimes update on tech and web stuff and I wanted to have a channel on Twitter that separates personal updates from updates related to technology. I think that once you find a voice on a particular platform one of the next steps should be to evaluate whether another channel with a specific target can better serve those who are following you.
