I think that WordPress would be a lot more useful as website and blogging tool if two areas of the functionality were improved.
WordPress sidebar widgets are a big step up from earlier versions where you had to code by hand to place and arrange different items in the sidebar. But what I really like to [...]

I want to congratulate Dries Buytaert and his team over at Acquia on the news that they have gained funding for their Drupal focused startup. According to their website, “Acquia is a new software company that will provide value-added software products and services for the Drupal web collaboration and publishing platform.”

I have added a new tutorial to the Learning Center. This one shows you how to add video to a site based on the Drupal content management platform. Check it out here.

Are rumors of the death of the traditional webmaster greatly exaggerated? Maybe not. I’ve stated previously that a new type of webmaster is needed in order to leverage the powerful new tools available to those doing business via the web.
This video features Drupal founder Dries Buytaert speaking at the Open Source CMS Summit at Yahoo! [...]

A post on Drupal.org has announced that a book titled Pro Drupal Development is now shipping.
Based on the comment in the announcement that, “Many heavy hitters in the Drupal community contributed to the book by reviewing drafts and offering suggestions and improvements.” I’d have to say that this book is worth a look for anyone [...]
